How can game music respond to players while keeping the composer in control?

At UNSW, I study how composer-defined constraints can guide AI-driven musical change while preserving the intended style and structure. I also build audio tools that let people inspect, edit and hear what a system is doing.

Composer-controlled music

Study how AI can adapt game music while following the composer’s intentions.

I built an offline prototype that checks AI proposals against composer-defined rules and generates approved instrument parts. Real-time gameplay adaptation is the longer-term goal.

Interactive audio · Research prototype

DSP graph generator

Build and edit synthesizer sounds and effects through language prompts.

I built a browser prototype with editable signal graphs, audio playback and validation of proposed changes.

Speaker matching

Collect a character’s voice clips for RVC experiments without searching every recording by hand.

I built a Python batch tool that matches speech to reference voices and exports clips with source timestamps.
